The STAC Parents & Friends Association exists to support the St Thomas Aquinas College community offering advice, ideas and funds necessary to complement the school’s funding.
All STAC P&F committee members and helpers are volunteers, and we depend on the generosity from all school Parents/Carers and wider community for all our activities.
We strongly encourage everyone in the school community to participate in all the P&F activities throughout the year. This includes becoming committee members, volunteering and/or attending the various fundraising events and promoting a positive community atmosphere.
Fundraising goals are agreed with the school at the AGM and other meetings during the year.
Our main fundraising event is our popular Annual Dinner Auction night, where various products, social-events and services are sold. Other events include parish social functions, raffles and others.
STAC P&F fundraising events are organised with the intention of promoting a close school community while raising funds to benefit the school and ultimately our children.

Appointment to a role will require a motion being passed at a Parents & Friends Association meeting and recorded in the meeting minutes.
Other subcommittees exist, such as the Annual Dinner Auction committee and Haven at Aquinas Community Center committee.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is usually held in Term 1 every academic year.
The AGM for 2023 is scheduled on February 15th @ 7.30-8.30pm at the School Library.
Committee members usually meet with the school executive team at least once per term, for updates on ongoing projects and to discuss other topics of interest.
The STAC P&F committee members always welcome additional ideas and feedback even outside of these scheduled meetings.
