A Word from the Principal – 26 July 2022

Dear Staff, Parents and Friends of the College,

Firstly, I would like to thank all parents, students and staff for their best wishes, prayers and gestures of kindness on the occasion of my 20th anniversary of the Priesthood. On Sunday night, a wonderful celebration was organized by the parish for myself and Fr Pepping at which we received beautiful gifts, the most beautiful of all being the Mass vestments and the spiritual bouquet. This morning at the weekly school assembly I received another spiritual bouquet from the students for which I am most grateful and am very touched by their kindness!

2022 Independent Schools Victoria LEAD Parent Satisfaction Survey: The school is taking part in the 2022 LEAD School Effectiveness Surveys.  The survey will be open from 1-26 August. The purpose of the survey is to allow the school to gain a better understanding of parents’ perceptions regarding the quality of their child’s educational experience with the school. The feedback from the survey will enable the school to improve the quality of education for our children. Such surveys are important because the school is required from time to time to gather and evaluate parents’ opinions. Your opinion is valuable to us, and we would therefore like to invite you to participate in the Parent Satisfaction survey so that we can use the information obtained to improve the quality of education at the school for our students. The feedback will also be used to help us develop our next 5 year strategic plan, which will commence in 2024.

The survey is conducted by an independent body known as Independent Schools Victoria (ISV) and is completely anonymous. The school receives only aggregate results. To enable parents/guardians to complete the survey, a link will be sent out to each parent of children enrolled in the school from 1 August onwards. The survey will take approximately 20 – 30 minutes to complete. Please complete it by Friday 26 August 2022.

Either parent may fill out the questionnaire or both parents may complete the survey together. We ask that you complete the survey for your eldest child at the school. However, you may also complete the survey for each child you have at the school, by clicking on the link again and re-doing it for another child.

When working through the questionnaire, when you read ‘school’, think of your child’s school and when you read ‘student’, think about your eldest child.

We appreciate your taking the time to participate.

Sincerely yours in the Two Hearts,

Father Andrew Cranshaw – Principal
