In the Primary school, students will be invited to dress up and come to school on Thursday 22 August in a costume that represents their family heritage. In the Secondary school we are inviting parents to come in and talk to the students of their son’s or daughter’s year level on their cultural heritage, so that the students can develop a better appreciation, awareness and respect for other cultures, ethnicities and countries. If you are happy to help us by talking for 10 minutes to the class of your son or daughter on the 22 August, please call or email the school office by 3pm this Friday.
The second event is a mini-camp run by the Sisters of the Society of St Pius X from the 18th to the 20th August for girls aged 7-18. The event is a parish event using school facilities.
The program of the mini-camp is the following:
• Thursday 18th August starting at 6:30pm: an evening of activities run by the Sisters
• Friday 19th August: Visit to the school and presentations to students on religious life
• Saturday 20th August: Mini-camp. A full day of fun activities for the girls organised by the Sisters
A more detailed program of the event will be provided in the Corpus Christi Parish bulletin next week.
Sincerely yours in the Two Hearts,
Father Andrew Cranshaw
Principal
