Dear Parents and Carers,
Many of our senior students travelled to Brisbane last week to compete against our sister school, St
Philomena’s school. The competitions included debating, netball, volleyball and basketball. Our
students represented the College well winning the Boy’s debate, drawing the netball and only loosing
volleyball by a very small margin. I would like to thank the teachers, parents and adults of the
community including our priests who coached our teams in preparation for this important annual event.
Next year we will host the competition here in Tynong with St Philomena’s competing against us on our home ground.
Our students are already looking forward to the next competition which is always a wonderful occasion for all involved.
Please see today’s Chronicle for some pictures of our students competing.
Sincerely yours in the Two Hearts,
Father Andrew Cranshaw
Principal
