We are still looking for Silver, Gold and Platinum Sponsors for this years auction. Have you taken a brochure yet to show business associates? Right before 30th June is an excellent time to approach people. Brochures available at the office.

CONCERT:
People interested in attending a morning tea at Cardinia Cultural Centre for an Engelbert Humperdinck concert Wednesday June 18th at 10am should contact Valerie Colman on 59428282.

BUILDING FUND:
This is the perfect time of the year to donate to the School Building Fund as there are some excellent tax benefits for you.
If your taxable income is somewhere between $30000 and $75000 pa for example, then for every dollar that you donate to the STAC building fund, you can get a 30 cent tax deduction back when you claim it.
So: Donate $100 get $30 back from the government.

On top of that, if the family donating is also receiving a “Family Tax Benefit A” then they may also get about 20 cents per dollar, but that depends on the individual circumstances, whether they are already receiving the maximum benefit, and some other factors.

Here is a suggestion:

Donate in June, Get a Tax Deduction in July.

With the end of the financial year fast approaching, those who were kindly thinking of making a tax deductable donation to the STAC Building Fund could do so before 30 June and then receive their tax deduction early in the new financial year when claiming their donation in their tax return.

Please make cheque payable to:
St Thomas Aquinas College Building Fund.
