ANNOUNCEMENTS
Dinner
Auction Meeting
A reminder to those people involved with the auction that
there will be a meeting this Friday night 11th April. It will
commence at 8.15pm (following the Holy Hour) in the College
secondary library.
Children
of Mary
A
reminder that this Sunday is Children of Mary Sunday.
Parents
& Friends Meeting:
This Monday evening 14th April at the school at 7.30pm.
Any
agenda items are to be emailed to Geraldine Freriks by Sunday
13th April.
PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS
Primary Interviews will take place on Tuesday of next week.
Forms were sent home yesterday with every student in the Primary
School. Only one needs to be filled in and returned to the
College office. Appointments are allocated based on the order
in which these appointment sheets are returned. Preference
is given to those however, who live longer distances from
the College. This enables these parents to attend the interviews
when picking up their children. All families are expected
to attend interviews with the teacher for their children in
the Primary School.
Secondary
appointment offers were on the interim reports and these will
take place on Tuesday 22nd April. Appointment times will be
sent home by the end of next week. Please be sure to return
all slips off these reports even if you are not attending
an interview for your child. There is provision where the
parent is asked to sign the report and to return that section
of the report.
CHOIR
Senior girls choir practice will be held every Wednesday afternoon
from 3:15pm - 4:00pm.
DINNER
AUCTION
It’s this time of the year again, when we are asking
for items suitable for our major fundraiser for the year.
Please give your major items to Kees Van Strijp and your silent
auction items to Suzie Phillips. As this is our major fundraiser
for the year we ask all families in our school and parish
to please be generous with your donations. If every family
donated something, no matter how small (or large), do you
realize how much easier this would make the committees job?
Every item counts towards making the night a success. Thank
you and God Bless.
The
WINGED WATCHMAN
Mr Fox urgently requires the loan of copies of The Winged
Watchman by Hilda Van Stockum. Just bring them to school.
Thanks!
SCHOOL PHOTOS
Packs have been sent home today with the students. Even if
you are not ordering it is required that you send the envelopes
back to the College. These are all bar-coded and are required
on the day of the shoot. We also ask that unless your child
is sick on the day that every effort be made to have all of
your children present at school. Please try to avoid any appointments
on that day. Photo day is 30th April.
Family Forms are available from the College office.
UNIFORM
LOAN
In August we have 6 girls coming from Germany. They will be
visiting for 3 months. In that time they will need the use
of a school uniform. They will need both winter and summer.
In order to save on costs are there any parents who have any
component of the girls uniform who are willing to loan these
during that time? Please contact Pauline Phillips if you can
help.
CASH
FOR CARTRIDGES
Please don’t throw them in the bin, bring them into
school.
Inkjet, laser, fax and photocopier cartridges are all worth
money. Please leave at the College office.
