Discipline
A school
must have a strict but fair discipline policy. Discipline
is not imposed as an end in itself but as a means of teaching
the students self-discipline to enable them to take their
place in society as responsible, mature, God-fearing adults.
The basis
for the discipline policy at Saint Thomas Aquinas College
is to instill in the student a desire to act in a Catholic
manner for the love of God. This applies to all areas of College
life: charity, obedience to superiors, academic excellence,
grooming, presentation of work, etc.
Any punishment
found necessary must be accepted as a consequence of the student's
action.
The Principal
reserves the right to expel a pupil who persists in serious
misconduct and whose presence is clearly detrimental to the
good of the others.
