Attendance
In accordance
with Education Department requirements, the roll will be called
twice daily. Scholastic performance and academic achievement
are directly related to regular attendance, therefore:-
- Students
are expected to attend the College every day classes are
being held;
- Students
are considered late if they fail to arrive prior to the
morning assembly;
- Parents
should notify the College by 8.50am of any student's absence,
together with the reason (illness, appointments, etc.).
To verify records, parents are to supply the College with
written, signed and dated, confirmation of the reason(s)
for the absence.
- Disciplinary
action may be considered where absences have not previously
been advised and written confirmation received. This applies
to excessive absences during the scholastic year.
- A
doctor's certificate must be furnished in relation to absences
due to illness exceeding five consecutive academic days.
